the adventure

The Castletons went camping as a family for the first time since living in Colorado. The last time Bruce and I had packed up and went for an overnighter in the wilderness Braden was 3 months old. We used the same 4 man tent we bought 10 years ago. All of the boys and I slept inside on an air mattress that went flat about 3 am and Bruce slept outside on an air mattress that deflated about 2 am. Good thing it was only one night.We had a great time and we made lots of memories. Bruce told the boys the story about the boy with the golden belly button. Braden and Hunter laughed so hard. The weekend was a good test run to see if we should make the investment in some more appropriate gear and take it up as a hobby.
