Boys and Birthdays

The birthday season in our house is almost over. Only one more to go and that is me (the big 30). Today is Ellis's birthday. We had a quick but fun birthday party between the time Bruce came home from work and the time we left for pack meeting. I can not believe that it has been a whole year. He is a fun one year old. We had a great day. Ellis helped make cup cakes and then enjoyed eating them and opening presents. I think Braden and Hunter like his toys better than their own.

Happy Birthday Hunter

Hunter had a great Birthday. It was on Sunday. I was on my way home from visiting the San Antonio crew so we celebrated on Monday. We had Mom and Dad Castleton over for dessert and presents. Hunter is very excited to be 8 years old. His baptisim is Monday May 26. Hunter got a new bike (gold and black--what else? Go Vandals!). The boys had a good weekend here, going swimming and attending a friend's baptism.

An evening hike

This evening was a beautiful spring evening in Boise. When Bruce came home from work we packed up some sandwiches and headed off. We had Ellis in the backpack, Braden had his camels back and i pod. He did not have the ears on just tucked in his camel back so he could hear some background tunes. It was really cute. Everyone did a great job. It was a fun hike for all of us, however I would have to say that Hunter is in the best shape of us all. He found some great rocks near the quarry. We all had a great hike to the cross at table rock.
