Buggin

This week Liz left her Volkswagen Bug here in Boise. The boys and I had so much fun cruzin around with the top down. We put the car seat in the bug on Sunday after Liz and Josh left to go to Idaho Falls and we took it out tonight. Ellis quickley learned that he could chuck is bottles out of the back and it would be really funny. We only lost one good one and then I started packing the cheep bottles along. He also tossed the glasses. The boys thought that they were so cool being picked up from school in a convertible. Today we went and got happy hour drinks at Sonic. I am so excited that Liz and Josh are moving here. I am glad that I get to live close to another sister. Thanks Liz we had a blast this week.

Welcome Summer

The summer season has finally arrived. With Memorial Day here the kids can see the end in sight and have only a few days left of school. The warmer weather has already given the kids opportunity to play outside in the water and for us to get up into the mountains. We're looking forward to some fun times (and Rosy's looking for some "serenity now" techniques).

Hunter's Baptism

What a wonderful weekend it has been. We've had Rosy's parents and Josh and Lizzy in town, Collette and Abby, Taggart came up from Preston, Mom and Dad Castleton, and the Whitneys all here to help celebrate Hunter's decision to be baptized. Hunter was very excited, and the ceremony was a special one with two other children from the ward being baptized as well. The chapel was almost full with all the well-wishers there. We had a great dinner before and had a lot of fun being with loved ones. It was a special day for Hunter, and we really appreciate all those who came to support him.

30 on the 30th

Yesterday was my big 30. Thank you to all of my family and friends. I feel so loved. Bruce and Braden said happy birthday when I woke up. Next, Mom and Dad called me, then Launa called (I accused her of being Andrew and told here that she could not tease me cause I knew who it was-obviously I did not know who it was). Then I saw Lowell and Marsha. They watched Ellis while I went to the temple. When I came out I had 2 messages a super sweet message from Jane (she is taking me to lunch tomorrow) and a birthday message from Dani. When I picked up Ellis, Marsha and I went to lunch and she gave me my gifts from she and Lowell (thank you). When I came home and grabbed the mail my card from mom and dad was there (such timing-impressive). Liz called me while I was cleaning my house for Marsha to come over. Hunter gave me a sweet birthday hug on my way out the door to my match. Melaine and Collette while I was at my tennis match. My friends on my tennis team had a great card and cupcakes for me and Dani gave me a sweet gift. Andrew called me on my way home and then Marsha watched the boys while Bruce and I went to dinner. This morning I got my singing birthday card phone call from grandma and grandpa Hatch. It was so cute they sang ~ Happy Birthday to you -yesterday~ Happy Birthday to you - yesterday. Next week Shellie and I are taking each other out for our birthdays. I am very spoiled. There is nothing more that I could have asked for on my birthday. Great friends and loving family. I love you all~ Thank you everyone for a great day and for thinking of me. I am no longer a twenty-something.
